Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress famous for her character Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom", has gained lots of attention. Calvano born in California, was originally interested in gymnastics competitions. However, she later chose to pursue an acting career. Her screen debut came in 2010 in a segment of CBS series "NCIS". The big screen debut came a year later, in the biographical crime-drama film 'J Edgar'. Over the next few years, she firmly established herself among the top young actors working today. She was nominated in 2011 for a Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses between 11 and 15 for her work on NCIS. In 2013, for a guest role in Disney XD's 'Kickin' It Comedy Series, she received another nomination for an Young Artist Award. Calvano had a role in the cast of Mom during its initial three years and appeared numerous times during the fourth. The year 2015 was the year she was awarded the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star due to her role in Mom.
