Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American TV and film actress. Her most well-known role is for playing Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. In addition, she is well-known as the lead in the Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven. She was a niece of her aunt who worked as the nanny of Michael Landon's children helped her land an unimportant role in the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. After after her Yale University graduation, she began to concentrate on acting and was able to land substantial roles in both cinema and television. Martin as well as being an accomplished dancer and actress, is also an accomplished ballet photographer. Martin is the mother of two and the spokesperson of Lupus. After her 19-year-old sister's death Martin has been working to educate people about the disease.
